Sussex County Fairgrounds

My last two posts were titled Jersey Shore and Jersey City, not by design or anything, it just happened that  I recently photographed weddings in Jersey City and at the Jersey Shore, so those seemed like appropriate titles.

So why not keep in tradition, make it 3 in a row and title this post Jersey Country.  It was after all photographed out in Sussex County in the Northewest Part of New Jersey at the Sussex Country Fairgrounds in Augusta NJ. That’s as country as it gets for New Jersey!

Karie and Chase’s wedding was somewhat unique in that it was not only held at the Fairgrounds (which hosts Horse show competitions and a bike race on this wedding day) but the ceremony actually took place in one of the barn type structures of the grounds. But there’s more, the ring bearers were the couples dogs, one being a Great Dane! It was quite an interesting event and a great early summer day.  Here are a few sneak previews from this past weekends wedding!
