Sunny Day
I kept my eye on the weather all this past week because besides having an engagement shoot in Central Park this weekend, they (as in the weathermen) were saying we could get 5 to 10 inches of snow. Luckily as it turned out Sunday was a beautiful day and lived up to it’s name. It was a sunny day in Manhattan.
I was meeting up with Jennifer and Brian to do some engagement photographs with them at the park. Last year Brian had proposed in the park and wanted to return there for the shoot. So we planned it and met up mid afternoon at the Met which is adjacent to Central Park. Specifically though our objective was to make it out to the Castle in Central Park as that was the spot where Brian had proposed last May.
The Engagement shoot is very casual with me. I asked them to simply hold hands, relax and enjoy the sites and sounds as they started walking at a leisurely pace over to the castle (which was about 15-20 minutes away). I would photograph them as they went along and occasionally stop if I or they saw something that caught our eye. It was quite fun and I will get to see them again in a few short weeks for their wedding in late April!
