Mountain Lakes House Wedding
Last weekend I photographed the wedding of Chip and Emily which was held at the Mountain Lakes House in Princeton NJ. The venue is in a hidden garden nook in Princeton and as I arrived I was greeted by kids walking around with their parents looking for butterflies. Its a lovely spot if you want a quiet private area with a really nice view of a lake at your ceremony.
Chip and Emily opted for a more traditional approach only seeing each other at the ceremony (no first look). The ceremony was midway from the House and Lake, with all the guests seated with a great view of nature. After the ceremony we did all the family, wedding party and couple photographs. The timing of all that went great and the couple still had some time left to enjoy a bit of their cocktail hour.
The reception was also held outside under a tent as the weather was not an issue (it was sunny all day). The couple had a food truck there which was really cool and an assortment of cakes and goodies. At the end of the night they made an exit into their car as everyone stood outside and cheered them on. Great day, thanks Emily and Chip for having me there! Check out a few previews from the day.
