Raritan Inn Wedding

This photo is from last weekends wedding at the Raritan Inn in Califon NJ. Claire and Joseph planned out a really nice outdoor wedding at the Inn. There was a Band and DJ that occasionally swapped leading entertainment roles. There were plenty of outdoor games for people to have fun with and overall it was just a really great relaxed outdoor ‘country’ wedding. The weather was perfect.

This photo was later in the day. The sun was setting and was very bright in the cloudless sky. I positioned myself (I was literally laying face down on the grass) to get a nice low angle with the sun directly behind Claire. That created a long shadow which comes right at me but leaves part of the lawn nicely lit creating a nice contrast between bright sun and dark shade. I love this shot.
