Honeymoon in Hawaii?
Taking advantage of the slower season during the winter months, Corinne and I went on a well deserved vacation. When we were deciding where to go, I thought of some of the places my couples have gone on their honeymoon…and then I thought of one place and knew it was where I wanted to go: Hawaii!
We just got back a few days ago and let me tell you, it is as close to paradise as you will find in the United States. A steady 80 degrees all year long, amazingly beautiful beaches and just a great vibe. We stayed in the island of Oahu and will one day have to go back to explore the other islands. So if you are deciding on where to go on your Honeymoon, I give Hawaii my stamp of approval.
It was a great way to recharge my batteries for the 2014 wedding season (and get away from the bitter cold here in NJ), but of course I still took my camera. I’m starting to post some of the more interesting shots on my Photography Facebook page, so if you want to see them as I post them here is the link.
Here are a few that I have already posted.
This shot was during a hike up Makapuu Point. I caught someone in the middle of taking a selfie.
These two surfing dogs were watching as their Daddy taught others how to surf.
Waimea Valley is at the North Shore of Oahu. A lush green valley that leads to a waterfall. Along the way I took this shot.
Check out the Facebook page for more as I post them.
